6 Nights Itinerary Coverage: Nairobi - Ol Pejeta - Masai Mara - Nairobi
Arrive at Nairobi International Airport and you will be greeted by our representative followed by transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Overnight in Nairobi.
In the morning check out from hotel and drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. This 4-5 hrs drive through the fertile highlands is enchanting and great way to see Kenyan countryside. On arrival, transfer to camp. Have lunch and embark on afternoon safari in excellent Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The Conservancy has the largest rhino population in Kenya and renowned for protecting various species, including the last two remaining northern white rhinos in the world.
Ol Pejeta is the best place to see rhinos in Kenya, a wide variety of wildlife can be enjoyed and home to Big Five. Spot reticulated giraffe, Grévy's zebra and gerenuk antelope, along with the rhinos. Return to camp for overnight stay.
Spend the day exploring the vast plains of Ol Pejeta in morning and afternoon game drives. One can also enjoy night drives and walks. Overnight in Ol Pejeta.
Embark on an awe-inspiring game drive into the picture-perfect landscape with snow-capped Mount Kenya as a backdrop. Today in time you will be transferred to Nanyuki Airport to board flight to Masai Mara. On arrival, meet our driver and transferred to camp for 3 nights stay. Enroute enjoy fabulous wildlife viewing. Check in at camp and after relaxing for a while join your guide for afternoon game drive.
Spot the Giraffes inhabit savannas, grasslands, and open woodlands. Be ready for a magical wildlife experience as herds of giraffe and elephant create a magical silhouette against the treeless savannah. Return to camp for an overnight stay.
Start early this morning with your experienced tracker-guide to discover the dazzling bio-diversity of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Spot the African Big 5, a group of rhinoceros, elephant, leopard, cape buffalo and the King Lion. Numerous other wildlife species can be spotted too.
On afternoon game drive in Masai Marai, not only gives you chance to explore Big 5, even you can spot some lesser-known animals of the region. The Masai Marai also host incredible array of birdlife that includes 450 species approximately. Return in the evening to the camp.
Today we embark on drive back to Nairobi (approx. 6 hrs). On the way there will be several stops for refreshments.
First half of the drive will be on rough & bumpy roads and the last to Nairobi will be on paved roads.
Alternatively you can fly to Nairobi from Masai Mara airstrip.
You will have opportunity to stop in local markets to shop souvenirs and local handicrafts before your board onward flight.
