Day 1 - Nairobi Arrival

Arrive at Nairobi International Airport and you will be greeted by our representative followed by transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Overnight in Nairobi.

Day 2 - Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

This morning after breakfast journey overland to Amboseli National Park famous for spotting the free-roaming elephants including other species bushbucks, dik-diks, duikers, and warthogs are also commonly found here. Check in to your camp and head into Amboseli National Park in open jeep. The park is also home to 400 bird species, and on a clear day you’ll also enjoy spectacular views of Africa’s highest mountain “Mount Kilimanjaro”. After exploring the park return to your lodge and enjoy dinner followed by overnight stay.

Day 3 - Amboseli National Park

Set out on early morning and afternoon game drives. On morning safari, you will spot great hers of elephants as well as zebra and wildebeest. The African elephant is typically larger than Asian elephants, one can easily notice that they have large ears, external tusks and usually less hairy than their Asian counterparts.

Amboseli offers its explorers to spot other species such as cheetahs, lions, baboons, wildebeest and buffalo, on afternoon safari you will track through vast lands of Amboseli National Park in search of these impressive animals. Overnight in Amboseli National Park.

Day 4 - Drive to Ngorongoro in Tanzania

Today with your guide drive towards Tanzania crossing the border at Namanga. Switch vehicles and guides at the border. Tanzanian visa can be obtained on arrival at the border after paying the fees of $100 USD for US Nationals and $50 for other nationalities.

After clearing the customs, proceed with your Tanzanian guide to Ngorongoro. Check in at your lodge and enjoy your lunch. Optional activities are available at your lodge including nature walks, cultural village visits, a hike to the Endoro waterfalls, bicycle tours, coffee plantation tours, and more. Enjoy your stay at the lodge.

Day 5 - Ngorongoro Crater

Today after breakfast join your experienced guide and descend into the crater, one of the most remarkable wildlife conservation areas in Tanzania; the Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive at the rim of crater which has one of the highest wildlife densities on earth with antelopes, wildebeest, zebra and the Big Five. Travel further for 45 minutes to reach the floor, roughly 12 miles wide and some 2000 feet deep. The highly fertile crater floor, boasts incredible wildlife co-exists peacefully with the local Maasai people and their cattle. Spot wide range of wildlife and perhaps some of the more elusive species like leopards, servals, and bat-eared foxes. Overnight in Ngorongoro.

Day 6 - Ngorongoro to Serengeti

After breakfast leave your lodge with guide and travel to the famous plains of Serengeti through its spectacular mix of savanna grassland and volcanic hills. On the way you can make a stop at Olduvai Gorge, the Serengeti Welcome Center and Lookout Point, or to stop for a picnic lunch.

At Olduvai Gorge, visit the on-site museum which reveals 3.7-million-year-old footprints and the 1.8-million-year-old skull of a human. Continue to your lodge and check in to your rooms offering expansive views of the plains. Overnight in Serengeti.

Day 7 - Serengeti National Park

Today embark on an African adventure in search of iconic species, such as lions, leopards, Cape buffalo and elephants, as well as giraffes, gazelles and zebras. Serengeti is famous for its abundance of wildlife and outstanding game viewing, giving visitors a real-life ‘Out of Africa’ experience. Along the rivers and rocky outcroppings, you may spot giraffes, elephants, impalas, gazelles and spectacular range of birdlife flitting through the sky.

Serengeti is best known for unique spectacle known as the Great Migration, moving around the ecosystem between the Serengeti and Kenya's Masai Mara throughout the year. Overnight in Serengeti.

Day 8 - Fly to Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Today fly to Kenya’s finest national park “Maasai Mara Game Reserve.” This reserve will fulfil your dreams with its excellent game viewing year-round and endless landscapes of golden grass hosts some 450 bird species, 95 animal species and all of the great predators, including the country's largest lion population. Once you settle in your rooms, you will have option of drive through the famed reserve.

Day 9 - Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Start early this morning with your experienced tracker-guide to discover the dazzling bio-diversity of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Spot the African Big 5, a group of rhinoceros, elephant, leopard, cape buffalo and the King Lion. Numerous other wildlife species can be spotted too.

On afternoon game drive in Masai Marai, not only gives you chance to explore Big 5, even you can spot some lesser-known animals of the region. The Masai Marai also host incredible array of birdlife that includes 450 species approximately. Return in the evening to the camp.

Day 10 - Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Today morning you have can enjoy the game drive or you may have an option of Hot Air Balloon ride (at additional cost) over the game-dotted plains and gaining a new perspective on life in the Mara.

During morning drive you can spot the famed ‘Big 5’ of Africa includes the African elephant, Cape buffalo, rhinoceros, leopard, and the king of the beasts, the lion. Maasai Mara boasts numerous other species of bird and wildlife also inhabit in this region including hyenas, gazelles, impalas, giraffes, zebras, vultures, cranes, eagles, falcons, and ostriches. Afternoon is at leisure or you can enjoy other activities offered by your camp followed by late-afternoon game drive to track Mara’s treasures. Enjoy iconic sundowner followed by memorable final dinner of your Kenya and Tanzania Safari Holiday. Overnight in Maasai Mara.

Day 11 - Masai Mara to Nairobi (6 hrs drive or flight)

Today we embark on drive back to Nairobi (approx. 6 hrs). On the way there will be several stops for refreshments.

First half of the drive will be on rough & bumpy roads and the last to Nairobi will be on paved roads.

Alternatively, you can fly to Nairobi from Masai Mara airstrip.

You will have opportunity to stop in local markets to shop souvenirs and local handicrafts before your board onward flight.
